Born in Tokyo in 1981.
Graduated from the Department of Industrial, Interior and Craft Design at Musashino Art University in 2005.
After working for an interior design company, he established MIKIYA KOBAYASHI INC.
Based in Tokyo and Valencia, Spain.

He is involved in a wide range of furniture, products, mobility and interior design, and proposes designs with clients both in Japan and abroad.
He received various design awards such as the “IF Gold award” in Germany and the German “red dot design award”, Good Design Award, adc award etc.
Operates his own original lifestyle brand “IMPLEMENTS”.
